Jakub Staron drew on his childhood neighborhoods in Krakow Poland to originate and fashion the Impressions Collection. Dilapidated buildings, old walls and peeling paint in the old, historic Jewish district were the inspiration for this dreamscape of color and pattern. The abstracts are produced using wool, silk, and nettle. Depending on the colors that are used in the design, the multi texture Tibetan weave can either have a rough looking somber, pensive aura, or can appear exuberant and almost ecstatic.
