Silk and especially silk carpets are a symbol of royal traditions, they are heirlooms passed on through generations. Lumiere collection takes this idea into new dimensions of modern times. We have re-spun by hand the finest silks available and meticulously hand-knotted our rugs the same way as it was done two hundred years ago. Jakub in his restless creativity didn’t settle there. He combined the newly created silk texture with modern geometric patterns with an antique-looking texture that could fool any expert. As a result, the Lumiere collection became a real feast of sensual antique textures and modern design work.
