Jakub Staron drew on his childhood neighborhoods in Krakow, Poland to create this collection. The play of light on old walls and peeling paint in the historic Jewish district were the inspiration for this dreamscape of colors and patterns. These abstract designs are produced using wool, silk, and nettle. Sometimes rough-looking Tibetan texture becomes a perfect canvas for the shimmering pastel colors, resulting in an almost Impressionist painterly experience.
