MAKALA

DESCRIPTION

The hand-knotted Makala Collection was inspired by Moroccan rugs that were originally made primarily by seminomadic Berber tribes. Jakub Staron utilized the original Moroccan style of high pile wool but veered away from the normally minimalist patterns, and instead, he opted for more creative, versatile, geometric designs.
