This rug strongly evokes the iconic textile designs of AnniAlbers, a prominent gure of the Bauhaus movement, thoughltered through an Art Deco sensibility. The stylized geometricmotifs, particularly the repeated triangular forms arranged ingrid-like patterns, are highly reminiscent of Albers' pioneeringwork in weaving. However, the rug's overall symmetry andperhaps a subtle hint of stylized ornamentation suggest a nodto the decorative principles of Art Deco. It's a fascinating piecethat bridges the functional abstraction of the Bauhaus withthe more ornamental spirit of the Deco era, possibly adeliberate homage to Albers' exploration of pattern andtexture within a modern framework
